libgtkpod-dev software package provides main library for the gtkpod package, development kit, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgtkpod-dev
libgtkpod-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgtkpod-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgtkpod-dev *
You will get with libgtkpod-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
